1 c margarine
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c karo syrup
4 c oatmeal
1 12 oz chocolate chips
3/4 c chunky peanut butter
Combine in saucepan:
butter, sugar, syrup. Stir over low heat til butter melts. Stir in oatmeal. Spread and pat into lightly greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Do not overbake. While baking, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter in saucepan. Stir over low heat til blended. Spread on hot base. Cool slightly and cut into finger lengths.
