Chicken Rolls

2 cups or less seasoned bread crumbs
½ c slivered almonds
4 T soft butter
2 cups cooked, cubed chicken
6 oz cream cheese
½ t pepper
2 pkg crescent rolls
Combine crumbs and nuts. Set aside. Combine cheese butter and pepper. Stir in chicken. Separate rolls. Roll out a little larger. Fill with chicken filling and fold rolls together like a diaper. Cover rolls with melted butter and crumbs. Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Serve with hot gravy.
